WARNING - It has come to my attention that due to the recent skyrocketing increase in copper prices (now 3 times higher than they have ever been in history), the cheap pre packaged amp kits (including the new Streetwires pre packaged kits on here) have now resorted to "CCA" and tinned aluminum cable. Their now flooding eBay heavily. CCA stands for Copper Clad Aluminum (nothing more than copper plated aluminum). Well as you can imagine, this is the equivalent of gold plated jewelry. It's not worth even half as much as OFC pure copper cable and doesn't conduct electricity even half as well as copper. Many of the sellers leave this detail out altogether so if it doesn't clearly state 100% OFC copper, it isn't. Worst yet is the fact most will just outright lie and list as OFC but If you're looking at an 8GA amp kit and it's under $25 you can bet your a$$ it's CCA or tinned aluminum cable as you can't buy pure copper for that! The very few knock off, no name branded OFC copper kits you can find out there are severely under gauged and measure gauge by outer jacket so you are really getting less than 10ga cable when you think your buying 8ga. 
Don't even bother with the off brand garbage. The very few 100% OFC copper name brand kits we are left with such as Stinger, JL Audio, and Streetwires that don't undergauge all start out around $40 and up and still give you the cheap crimp on ring terminals. This kit and deal is incomparable! 
Want to avoid that junk??? Of coarse you do. You wouldn't buy your wife or girl gold plated jewelry and you wouldn't buy yourself a cheap pre-packaged stereo system. So don't mess with the cheap pre packaged wiring kits and consumer grade cabling either and you'll be ahead of the game saving lots of time, money and hassle in the end.
It is a shame to say, but amp wiring kits and cable has gotten like audio equipment now days so don't be fooled. Some of you older guys here know exactly what I'm talking about. Remember all the real Badd A$$ competition amps before they all went consumer grade mainstream to China and Taiwan? When they were made in America? Rockford Fosgate, Orion, Precision Power, HiFonics, Autotek, Phoenix Gold, A/D/S, US Amps?? Any of those ring a bell?? That's right, they all used to be 100% quality and American made just like this cable.
We all know you can't hold a candle to the Old School American made quality when it comes to this stuff. And we all know they don't make anything like they used to. The same holds true with cable and wiring accessories BUT fortunately for you, (though I don't know for how long) you can still have this true Badd A$$ American quality in your cabling.
This Is the ORIGINAL STREETWIRES 8G CABLE MADE RIGHT HERE IN USA! The Old School 100% pure OFC copper-Not the new CCA or tinned aluminum and under gauged Taiwanese junk. This stuff was manufactured before that junk reared it's ugly head among the car audio market. When 8G meant 8G. The mainstream consumer grade cable in the inferior pre packaged wiring kits doesn't hold a candle to this pro installer grade cable. Notice this sais Powerstream on it but don't get it confused with their new "PowerStation" or "ZN/Zero Noise" cheapo CCA and tinned aluminum amp kits. Also notice it's a lot more finely stranded than the
rope lay" construction of their newer cable too for better conductivity. 
A NOTE ABOUT THE TINNED PURE OFC COPPER POWER CABLE IN THIS KIT: Iv'e had a few uninformed buyers of this kit message me and say "hey, the power cable isn't copper". As you can see from the pictures, this original Power Stream OFC pure copper cable is tinned. The tinning is a extra manufacturing process that costs significantly more to produce than bare OFC but well worth it as it  increases the conductivity of the cable, resists corrosion, and adds a skinning effect for audio quality. Tinning is extremely important as bare OFC corrodes very quickly in an automotive environment due to humidity and many other dynamic factors which significantly reduce it's conductivity in turn leading to voltage drop. Just look at your positive battery terminal and factory bare copper cable leads on them. They get bad so quickly the vehicle won't even start because of this issue. The corrosion literally eats bare copper cable from the inside out in no time flat. However, tinned solid OFC is immune to this effect and why it's the best money can buy. 
Copper weighs 42% more than aluminum (minus the insulation). You can also scrape away the outer nickle tinning and see the bare 100% solid pure copper underneath tinned OFC. CCA cable in contrast, will appear to be copper on the outside but you'll see the silver, solid aluminum when the coppercladding is scraped away. And last there's also lots of tinned aluminum in these cheap pre packaged kits (the price is a dead giveaway) which will still show the silver, pure aluminum underneath afterscraping away the tinning. I have sold a lot of this tinned OFC cable off and on eBay as well as locally over the past 15 years to guys running 500watt+ amps and never a single complaint. Try powering a 500watt RMS amp up to the new junk CCA or tinned aluminum 8G cable and see what happens. Things will get hot to say the least.
So what else makes this cable so different than all the pre packaged junk out there ??? Well first off, this is the pro installer grade cable sold by the foot in car audio retail specialty store fronts & used in their install bays by pro audio installers -NOT the lower consumer grade cable sold in inferior pre-packaged amp wiring kits. You can't get this high-end cable in the cheap pre packaged amp kits and you won't find it elsewhere on eBay or anywhere else short of visiting your local car stereo specialty shop and forking over the big dollars for it!
Fortunately, you can get it right here from me for pennys on the dollar! Matter of fact, this cable came straight from my shop's pro install bay that I personally work in and sell off the spool for $3+tax a foot all day long. IT'S NOT SOME CHEAP ASIAN MADE CRAP EITHER like 95% of the other cable out there including Stinger and other big names). NOPE, THIS CABLE IS MADE RIGHT HERE IN THE U.S.A.
The connecting accessories in this kit are the high-end pieces sold in car audio retail shop's store fronts for $40 a pop and up! This kit includes a pair of the best type of ring terminals money can buy - high-end vacuum sealed compression interlocking machined ring terminals (not the cheap crimp on junk found in all the inferior pre packaged kits) These heavy, thick, high-end terminals allow you to finish off your install with a clean high-end look while at the same time ensuring that you get max blast out of your amp and will not choke the power output and shorten your amp's lifespan like the cheapies.
You will never find them in a consumer grade pre packaged amp kit. As you can see from the pics below, these terminals actually vacuum seal each and every single wire strand ensuring full and complete contact between every single strand of wire and the heavy duty terminal leaving no wire exposed and vulnerable to corrosion and voltage drop to your amp. The pictures also show exactly how these terminals work and what you can expect from them cosmetically as compared with the inferior crimp on terminals found in the consumer grade pre packaged kits. As you can see, they just plain look BADD A$$!
With these terminals, you get every watt you paid for. You paid the big bucks for the quality amps, so don't choke their power supply's shortening their lifespan by skimping and using inferior power cable and ring terminals. Your system is only as good as the weakest link. These terminals alone sell in car audio retail shop's store fronts for $14.99 a pop and up! Heck, the terminals alone retail out of my shop for as much as I'm selling this entire wiring kit!
After viewing this comparison, Now you be the judge. Which would you rather have ??? Should be a no-brainer. Each component in this kit is a high-dollar, high-end piece by itself that I hand picked just for this kit. Buying a wiring kit is just like everything else, you want the best - you get separate high-end components and piece it together with the best which is exactly what I have done here, saving you the hassle and expense. You want the same junk the kids down the street are using - go buy that. This kit is for the person who demands what the pros use.
So don't be fooled by some fancy packaging filled with inferior garbage or you will pay a lot more for the consequences in the end. The guys putting together the Badd A$$, big dollar rides every day use this. Now have your own pro install bay right at home just like us guys! Get every watt you paid for and spend the $ on the real stuff. My custom pro installer shop grade cable is far superior to any of the other cable out there be it the the bogus CCA/tinned aluminum stuff or the inferior consumer grade OFC cable found in cheap pre packaged wiring kits.
